Reflection 1 of 0

Create an implementation plan for rolling out your universal instructional design aligned to your shared student outcomes.

Students need to be able to see that the school’s shared student outcomes are relevant to what they are learning throughout each day and how that learning is preparing them for their future. One way to embed your shared student outcomes into your instructional design is to use reflective practices. This should be something that your community can embrace and begin to use regularly so the simpler the better! Teachers can use additional activities to reinforce shared student outcomes, but it is important to develop universal practices that become key experiences for everyone at your school. Here are several ideas and resources for building universal reflective tools:

  1. Based on your current instructional design plans and the feedback you collected from students and staff, what are the top 3 little things (can be done in less than 3 months) you plan to implement schoolwide to align your instructional design to your shared student outcomes?

    • This response will be reviewed and graded after submission.

  2. Based on your current instructional design plans and the feedback you collected from students and staff, what are the top 2 key moves you plan to implement schoolwide to align your instructional design to your shared student outcomes?

    • This response will be reviewed and graded after submission.

  3. What is 1 big play (will take 6 months or longer to implement) that you will commit to that will ensure your shared student outcomes are being used schoolwide every period, every day?

    • This response will be reviewed and graded after submission.
