By embracing the richness of different backgrounds and viewpoints, you gain a more comprehensive vision and make well-informed choices that drive school transformation and student success.

About the Presenters
With over 22 years of experience in education, Kyle Laier has traversed diverse roles across various school settings, consistently championing student success and leadership development. His journey began in Desert Hot Springs, California, where he led the establishment of a new high school in a vibrant, high-needs community. Transitioning to Oregon, Kyle embarked on a dynamic career path, first as a college basketball coach before transitioning to middle school teaching in Oregon City.
Michelle is a lifelong learner with a passion for education. With experience in research, technology, and consulting, her focus has always been on improving student experiences. Believing in the power of curiosity-driven learning, she champions educators who empower students through engaging experiences. Currently, her work centers on helping schools move beyond traditional systems to create a more meaningful learning environment.
